• Name: NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate)

• Conducting Body: National Testing Agency (NTA)

• Mode of Exam: Pen-and-paper based (Offline, OMR sheet)

• Academic Qualification:
  Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English

  • General – Minimum 50%

  • OBC/SC/ST – Minimum 40%

  • PwD (General) – Minimum 45%

• Nationality:
  Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals are eligible

• Minimum Age: 17 years as on 31st December 2025

• Upper Age Limit: No upper age limit as per latest NMC/NTA guidelines

5️⃣ Application Fee

Payment can be made online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

• Total Questions: 200 (180 to be attempted)

• Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes

• Marking Scheme: +4 for correct, -1 for incorrect, 0 for unattempted

• Mode: Offline (OMR based)

Based on NCERT Class 11 and 12 curriculum:

• Physics: Motion, Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Modern Physics

• Chemistry: Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry

• Biology: Diversity of Life, Genetics, Cell Structure, Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Ecology
