UP Scholarship 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Students must be enrolled in a recognized school, college, or institute.
• Pre-Matric Scholarship: Only Class 9th and 10th students can apply.
• Post-Matric Scholarship (Intermediate): Only Class 11th and 12th students can apply.
• Post-Matric Other than Inter: For UG, PG, Diploma, Technical, and PhD students.
• The bank account must be linked with the Aadhaar Card.
• The student must have passed the previous year’s exam.

UP Scholarship 2025-26 Required Documents

• Passport-size Photograph
• High School Marksheet (for higher classes)
• Intermediate Marksheet (if applicable)
• Previous year’s result
• Aadhaar Card (linked with mobile number)
• Bank Account details (linked with Aadhaar)
• Income Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Fee Receipt of current session
• Final Printout of Application Form

👉 For renewal: Students who applied in the previous year do not need to register again. They can simply update their details using the Renewal Link.

How to Apply for UP Scholarship 2025-26

From this session onwards, One Time Registration (OTR) is compulsory.

Step 1: Generate OTR

• Verify mobile number
• Complete Aadhaar e-KYC
• Generate and receive your unique OTR number (only one per student).

Step 2: Registration

• Register on the scholarship portal with personal and academic details.
• A registration number will be generated after successful submission.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form

• Provide full details, including Aadhaar, bank account, caste/income certificate, and educational information.
• Upload required documents.

Step 4: Institute Verification

• Submit the form to your school/college.
• The institute will complete biometric authentication and verification.

Step 5: Scrutiny & Approval

• Applications undergo computerized scrutiny.
• Final verification by the District Scholarship Committee.

Step 6: Scholarship Disbursement

• Once approved, the scholarship is transferred directly to the student’s bank account via DBT (Aadhaar-based system).

Scholarship Amount (Approx.)

• Pre-Matric (Class 9–10): ₹3,000–₹8,000 per year
• Post-Matric (Class 11–12): ₹7,000–₹15,000 per year
• Post-Matric UG/PG/Diploma/PhD: ₹10,000–₹25,000 per year

(Amount varies for day scholars and hostellers)
