How to Apply CPCL Recruitment 2026

Candidates interested in CPCL Recruitment 2026 should first ensure that they satisfy the qualification, percentage, experience and age requirements for exactly one advertised position. CPCL clearly states that a candidate is permitted to apply for only one post using a single email ID and mobile number.

Step 1: Registration

Visit the CPCL recruitment portal through the Careers section and carefully read the instructions. During new-user registration, candidates need to select the post they are applying for and provide basic personal information. Their email ID and mobile number must be validated through OTP, so candidates should use active contact details.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form

After successful registration, the candidate receives a User ID and password. Login to the application portal and complete the application form. The form contains sections covering personal details, academic qualifications, work experience, photograph, signature, documents, preview, declaration and payment.

Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

The notification specifies that the recent passport-size photograph should be uploaded in JPG, JPEG or PNG format, with a permitted size of 20 KB to 60 KB. The signature should also be uploaded in JPG, JPEG or PNG format, with a permitted size of 10 KB to 30 KB.

CPCL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process consists of a Computer Based Test (CBT), Document Verification and Skill, Proficiency and/or Physical Test (SPPT). The SPPT is qualifying in nature, while the CBT plays the key role in determining the merit position of candidates who qualify at the subsequent stage.

The CBT will contain 120 objective-type questions/marks, divided into General Aptitude and Discipline Knowledge. General Aptitude will contain 50 questions covering verbal ability, general knowledge, reasoning/logical deduction and numerical ability. The Discipline Knowledge section will contain 70 questions related to the relevant discipline. There will be a ¼-mark negative marking for every incorrect answer, and the examination duration will be two hours.
