SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026. SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025: कर्मचारी चयन आयोग (SSC) ने Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026 के लिए आधिकारिक नोटिफिकेशन जारी कर दिया है। इस भर्ती के माध्यम से भारत सरकार के विभिन्न मंत्रालयों, विभागों, कार्यालयों तथा अन्य सरकारी संस्थानों में Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) और Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’ के पदों पर भर्ती की जाएगी।

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for most SSC CHSL posts must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.
For LDC/JSA and general DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts, 12th pass qualification is required.
However, for specified DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Staff Selection Commission and Ministry of Culture, candidates must have passed 12th Class in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
The result of the required educational qualification must have been declared by 07 October 2026.

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026: Step-by-Step Application Process Visit the official SSC website ssc.gov.in. Complete the new One-Time Registration (OTR) if you are a new candidate. Login and open the SSC CHSL 2026 application form. Enter your personal and educational details. Complete the required photo and signature-related process. Carefully select your post preferences and examination centre. Pay the application fee, if applicable. Check the application form preview carefully. Submit the application form finally. Save or print a copy of the submitted application for future reference. Candidates who do not have an OTR on the new SSC portal will need to create a new OTR. The old OTR created on the previous SSC website will not work on the new portal.
Salection Process
The SSC CHSL 2026 selection process will consist of: 1. Tier-I Computer Based Examination 2. Tier-II Computer Based Examination 3. Skill Test/Typing Test 4. Document Verification 5. Final Selection/Post Allocation Tier-I will contain questions from English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. There will be 0.50 marks negative marking for each wrong answer. Tier-II includes Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning and General Intelligence, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge Test. A Skill Test is required for DEO posts, while a Typing Test is applicable for LDC/JSA and other non-DEO posts as prescribed.
