Essential Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• Passed High School or equivalent.
• For 50% posts: National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade.
• For 50% posts: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from BTEUP or equivalent, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferential Qualification

Preference will be given to candidates possessing:

• One-year Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) Certificate.
• CCC Certificate issued by NIELIT (DOEACC) or equivalent.

Experience Requirement

NTC/NAC Holders

• Minimum 3 years industrial or teaching/instructor experience.

Diploma Holders

• Minimum 2 years experience.

Degree Holders

• Minimum 1 year experience.

Additional Preference

Preference will also be given to candidates who have:

• Served at least 2 years in Territorial Army, or
• Possess NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
