Why Didn’t Some Candidates Get Preferred Cities?

NTA explained that allocation depends on the following:

  • Preferred city choice
  • Subject combination
  • Exam shift availability
  • Limited CBT (Computer-Based Test) centers

Due to these constraints, some candidates were allotted nearby or alternate cities.
